For E Squared, Tshikululu provides grant management services, including identification, due diligence, contracting, payment and monitoring and evaluation.

The fundamental purpose driving E Squared (together with sister trusts, Allan Gray Orbis Foundation and Allan Gray Orbis Africa Endowment) is to foster “entrepreneurship for the common good” with a focus on the creation of employment opportunities. As part of this overall purpose, E Squared makes several high-value grants in selected public benefit organisation (PBO) social enterprises that either are or have the potential to generate substantial income through trading activities (instead of donor funding). In addition, one of the key criteria of these grants is transformation of both the board and management of the prospective PBOs.
