GBVF

The Fund is a part of a national response to gender-based violence and femicide in South Africa. It is private sector led approach to coordinating financial resources to support relevant programmes and campaigns that will raise awareness, lead to mass action, and result in behavioural change. 

Tshikululu is providing end-to-end grant management services for the Fund’s first RFP. This includes managing publication of the RFP, shortlisting and recommending suitable projects for funding, disbursement of grant funding and monitoring and evaluation of funded projects to report on impact. The Fund approved 114 non-profit organisations for funding, and Tshikululu has disbursed R34 999 743 to them so far in first tranche payments.
