Measurement of impact is central to understanding what a social investor is actually achieving on the ground. Without effective measurement, it is impossible to track progress of social investments and make the necessary adjustments through evidence-based decision-making.

EVALUATION

We perform formative, process, outcome and impact evaluations. Our team of experts conduct evaluations at any point in the programme lifecycle, providing highquality recommendations generated via evidence-based findings. IMPACT MEASUREMENT AND MANAGEMENT (‘IMM’)

In the impact investing space, we provide Impact Measurement and Management (IMM) services. Under IMM, we work with impact investors to design their impact thesis and framework, and then track progress against social impact objectives. Reporting is aligned to overall fund performance, ensuring that impact is given the attention it deserves alongside financial performance.

MONITORING AND REPORTING

We offer our clients programme monitoring and reporting services. This includes monitoring implementation against agreed strategy, working with programme partners, tracking programme indicators, analysing quantitative and qualitative data and reporting back to clients on progress and impact.

PROJECT REVIEWS

We offer our clients project review services to understand the performance of existing partner organisations against approved strategy and agreed targets.

M&E FRAMEWORKS AND SYSTEMS

We work with social investors to design and set up robust M&E frameworks and systems. This includes establishing an M&E Plan, with a Theory of Change, indicators for measurement, monitoring policy and activities and evaluation timing.

ESG

We leverage our social investment and impact measurement and management capabilities to support our clients to design and implement impactful environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies. Our focus includes strategy formulation, stakeholder engagement, assessment, due diligence, monitoring, reporting, training and research.
